For thousands of years this was a sacred place for the local indigenous people, a place of dance and celebration. The lighthouse was completed here in 1901.
Stunning views abound from the lighthouse, and there is a cafe at the top too for the weary walker. There is car access, and in my visit it appeared there was a wedding taking place at the nearby pavilion.
